Fees and Policies
Create WV awards a $99 registration to each session presenter in recognition of their participation (that's a $150 discount off regular registration!). Session presenters are invited to share their insights because they are valuable to others. Organizers highly discourage hit-and-run presenters...that goes for dine-and-dash presenters as well. Come on in, stay a while. After all, it's the diverse and wildly creative, curious, innovator-next-door friendly folks with big ideas, skills and know-how-- PLUS those incredible keynote speakers, the delicious locally-sourced and artfully prepared designer food, music ...the irrepresible serendipitous feeling when it all comes together--that make a Create WV Conference worth your while. And...it costs real money. (Is that brow still furrowed? For crying out loud--it's two days of information and networking with some of the most fascinating and useful people you'll every meet! $99 is a deal!) If you have extraordinary circumstances that prohibit you financially, please let us know. If you're interested in providing an extra scholarship for presenters or attendees, please let us know that, too!
Conflict of Interest Policy
Create WV and its partnering organizations strive to offer consistent, researched, top-quality innovation economy information and resources. In the past, attendees of our conferences said they appreciated that the sessions were not based on sales or marketing of products or services. When agreeing to participate as a presenter at Create WV, you agree to maintain this level of quality by providing impartial, product neutral information.
Registration cancellations made in writing to Create WV by September 1 will receive a full refund of the exhibitor or registration fee paid. Cancellations made September 15 and after will receive a 50% refund of the fee paid. Cancellations are deemed effective on the date that the written notice is received by conference organizers.

Each presenter must REGISTER. As a presenter you receive a $99 conference registration.
Bio/Contact Information | Required Field for Speaker Registrants
A brief bio is needed for our online promotional material and for session introductions by our room managers. The bio/contact information shoud be sent to Brittany as soon as you register.
Handouts and Presentations
Presentations may be posted on the Create WV website if you send them to us. You may want to make the presentation available on your own site, so participants can download. We request that you provide us with a copy of your presentation and/or handouts.*
*You will need to bring your actual presentation with you on laptop, disc, or jump drive for use during your session. Previously sent presentations files will not be preloaded for your presentation.
Each training room will have:
Session Specific Evaluation forms
Session Specific Signage
Room monitor for your assistance & introduction
AV recording capacity (tentative)
A Social Media Recorder (tentative)
At the close of each session, room monitors will collect evaluations from the session attendees. Upon the close of the conference, evaluations will be processed and an e-mail sent to each presenter with the results of their session.
