Core iN Elements
iN introduces a core set of innovation economy tools and methods essential to innovation economy business and professional development.
Problem Solving – iN introduces employers and students to key problem solving and decision making techniques that allow individuals and teams to isolate and define problems clearly, make decisions faster.
Design Thinking – Design thinking identifies and investigates both known and ambiguous aspects of a current situation in order to discover hidden parameters and open alternative paths which may lead to solving even intractable problems. Design thinking encourages divergent thinking to ideate many solutions (possible or impossible) and then uses convergent thinking to prefer and realize the best resolution.
Lean Startup Principles – Lean Startup is a method for developing businesses and products. The lean startup philosophy applies to any individual, team, or company looking to introduce new products or services into the market. iN introduces strategies for iteratively building products or services to meet the needs of early customers. The goal, reduce market risks and sidestep the need for large amounts of initial project funding and expensive product launches and failures.
Adaptive Leadership – Adaptive Leadership is a practical leadership framework that helps individuals and organizations adapt and thrive in challenging environments. It is being able, both individually and collectively, to take on the gradual but meaningful process of change.
Managing Five Generations in the Workplace – With a focus on “social learning,” iN works toward readying people and organizations to be more competitive, agile and connected. Today people we have five very different generations in the workplace. Do employees understand how work is done differently in different generations? Do employees understand customer needs, interaction and work styles from different generations? Workshops look at the Gen Z effect as propelled by six forces: Breaking generations; Hyperconnecting; Slingshotting technology; Shifting from Affluence to Influence; Adopting the World as my Classroom; Lifehacking.
